A 28-year-old Senegalese American woman navigating life’s complexities. Welcome to my journal. I started this blog ten years ago, back in 2015. I was a freshman in college, and I needed an outlet. Unlike my peers who used social media to broadcast their lives, I decided, why not start a blog? Here we are, ten years later! I have written numerous blogs on marriage, love, African parents, mental health, and other topics. I plan on switching it up a bit. I am no longer that 18-year-old girl who started this blog on a whim, just ranting about everything… well, maybe I lied. Join me for this ride, as I enter my very late 20s and go into my 30s.
